JOURN seeks to build a healthy, active, and inclusive community for all through partnerships and/or sharing sessions by leading health practitioners, coaches, and wellness outfits, creating a balanced lifestyle ecosystem for the community.

Our first series delves into training plans curated by Singapore’s former national cyclist, Donaben Goh Choon Huat. Donaben competed professionally from 2012 to 2022, riding for Terengganu Cycling Team. During the 2021 season, he partook as a stagiaire for Team Bike Exchange in the World Tour for three months, becoming the first Singapore to race for a professional team in Europe. He is a 4x Singapore National Champion in ITT as well as a 3x Singapore National Champion in the Road Race. After his retirement in late 2022, he has since started his own training program – Champerformances – honing amateur cyclists in Singapore. He also occasionally lends invaluable tips to current Singapore national riders with many years of road racing experience and skills.

For JOURN, Donaben has curated three 4-week plans that seek to help road riders become stronger in three disciplines – climbing, sprinting and time-trial. Whether you’re a recreationist looking for structure, an amateur cyclist looking to gain some watts, or a professional looking to improve your overall riding and Functional Threshold Power (FTP), we are here for you.
